The guy delivering my mail was taking it and then he ended up wrecking their car and was hired w no license....I am always worried I will no get my mail and packages..his post office needs someone o step in and get it straightened out and not hire just anyone!!!!!! IT IS A SHAME I WORRY DAILY ABOUT MY MAIL!!! LILLINGTON RESIDENTS NEED TO COMPLAIN IF HEY ARE HAVING SAME ISSUES AND CALL HEAD PLACE NOT LILLINGTON!
If I could give two ratings I would give both a 5 star rating for our regular mail delivery person and 1 star to our non regular delivery person.
Our regular mail man, drives a white jeep.. and goes above and beyond the call of duty.. placing packages on our front door step, ringing the door bell to make sure we know he has something to be delivered such as a package too large to fit in our mail box and doesn't ever lose our mail and also gives treats to our dogs. He's great. He also let's us know when he won't be delivering for a few days. Awesome guy, great at his job and friendly.
Our non regular mail lady.. drives a red 4 door sedan, this woman however isn't so great, on countless times she has thrown mail out of her car into our ditch by the street.. leaving behind 4-5 peoples personal checks.. that we had to call an locate the owners of so they could remail their payments to companies... Payments to local daycares, electric companies and the like. On Monday Oct. 23rd, I was expecting a packet that was supposed to be signed for.. she put a large box in the mailbox, she left the mailbox open leaving our mail exposed and vulnerable to the elements.. she also didn't come to the door for my packet of paperwork.. she literally.. left and didn't even bother to leave a note.. leaving me frantic for about a week until I asked the sender to send me the tracking number.. which I found out.. the packet.. needed further action to be delivered.. action that I wasn't given an option to take care of, nor a note left telling us that it had arrived.. a packet.. that has a lot of time sensitive and personal information in, that left me in fear that this information was left in the hands of the wrong people.. leaving myself and the sender in an unpleasant state hoping our personal information hasn't been left in place of untrustworthy hands.. now not only do I have to go out of my way to pick up this paperwork today at the post office, but I also lost time and sleep because of this unreliable postal service person which we expect to take their job seriously.. because.. not all mail is junk mail. What if that had been a bill she didn't feel like going back to deliver? Would she have just thrown it out of her car along with those peoples checks she threw out the window into someone else's ditch? I'm very irked with this woman's lack of responsibility and lack of professionalism.
